It isn’t news that today’s children are increasingly overscheduled. However, in today’s cost cutting climate, saving money might be another reason to cut back on the activities. One way to spend more time with your child or niece and at the same time save your or her parents some money is by taking them out weekly or monthly for a fun activity. It could be swimming at a local center, going to a museum or exploring a new area in your city (dim sum in Chinatown?). It will open up their schedule and also give everyone a little more wiggle room.
