I was recently asked to name my favorite Personal Finance books. So many to choose from. Here's a stab at my favorites:

My 1st Favorite

• Get a Financial Life: Personal Finance in Your Twenties and Thirties by Beth Kobliner. She recently updated this book. She was also on Sesame Street talking about money with Elmo! https://bethkobliner.com/?video_categories=sesame-street-for-me-for-you-for-later

Oldie but Goodies

• The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom by Suze Orman

• Money Rules: The Simple Path to Lifelong Security by Jean Chatzky

• Your Money or Your Life: 9 Steps to Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Achieving Financial Independence, by Vicki Robin & Joe Dominguez

• Smart Women Finish Rich by David Bach (I wish this was written by a woman but it’s a great book)

• The Automatic Millionaire: A Powerful One-Step Plan to Live and Finish Rich, by David Bach (AMAZING fundamental principles of saving automatically)

For Millennials

• Broke Millennial: Stop Scraping By and Get Your Financial Life Together by Erin Lowry

Mindset

• Secrets of Six-Figure Women: Surprising Strategies to Up Your Earnings and Change Your Life by Barbara Stanny (LOVE HER and all her books. She has a great story. I’ve seen her present many times)

• The Art of Money Paperback by Bari Tessler (I can’t recommend this book enough if you feel STUCK with money)

• The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America’s Wealthy by Thomas J. Stanley & William D. Danko

Investing

• The Little Book of Common Sense Investing: The Only Way to Guarantee Your Fair Share of Stock Market Returns, by John C. Bogle (Founder of Vanguard and truly believe in his principles of investing. Lowest cost bar none!)

• Women’s Worth: Finding Your Financial Confidence By Eleanor Blayney

• Clever Girl Finance: Ditch Debt, Save Money and Build Real Wealth By Bola Sokunbi
